i have a question , about the green giant products of steamy veggie can i use them ?? e.g. broccoli with cheese and butter ....etc
check the ingredients of everything you eat .... if I remember from what I saw on the package from the store the cheese they use is processed so it isn't a good choice. Buy some frozen broccoli and some Deli Deluxe Cheese slices - microwave them with the cheese on top and it's more nutritious than what someone else makes for you. Also I don't remember but check the sodium amount also.
If you make 1 dish a day that has extra portions and freeze them you'll have a variety -- and that way it won't take as long. If you look at the recipes on Linda's site very few of them take long to make and some only have a few ingredients in them. http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html. If you can't cook on weekdays take a few hours out of one of your weekend days to make a few meals ahead. It's something you'll have to take the time to prepare your meals.
