Well I think it's been five years since I have tried to follow Atkins way of eating. I love it when I'm on it, I have way more energy, not hungry as often, do not crave sweets. I started again on 1/25/10 and have lost 10lbs so far!!!! love it. This site is Wonderful, very friendly people with lots of postive feedback. It makes me want to do a great job so I can post awesome before and after pics. They are so inspiering. Thanks

Hi and welcome back to Atkins foxfire--

Good for you getting back on plan! This I hope you have the 2002 DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) book it's the edition we follow on this site. Exercise, take a non-iron vitamin and drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water. Check Linda's recipe site - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over --
http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html. Make sure you move to OWL and start adding foods back so you have time to find the foods you can eat without problems and those that may trigger a problem!

Also many people start a journal to keep track of themselves. It’s also a great place to meet new people http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/journal-chats/.

If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck.

Thanks for the welcome, I do visit Linda's Low carb site often, love it. Every item that I have made so far my whole family will eat even my two kids. I plan on staying on induction for a little while 1month maybe. And then move on which I think will prove to be tougher than induction???

OWL is much easier than induction because you have more choices and it's the time you learn what foods you can eat without any problem and which ones may cause problems for you. I enjoy the OWL rungs so much more than I ever did induction.
