  • Confidence!

    So, i gues this is my introduction. Im not overweight (i think) for my height, which is 5'4, and i weigh 130.i want to lose about 15 pounds, just so i can have more self confidence. I have very huge hips which i believe is filled with fat, and my abdomen is not so good too. Now that summer is approaching, i want to look great. I have just started Atkins and hope to lose those 15 pounds. I really hope i lose all my fat weight soon! My only challenge --> carbs =(....this is going to be hard

      Push-ups: 450/800
      Abs: 850/1900
      Squats: 650/1200
      Lunges: 500/1000
      Strength: 490/1200
      Running: 50/100 km

        Welcome...
        I, too, have only a bit of weight to lose or I could lose NONE and be just fine, but this WOE has given me sooo many added benefits, I would never ever ditch it! It's just changed my skin, hair, nails and body compositioin I have NO ill side effects and ENJOY the challenge of tweaking it here and there to get it right for ME.
        I have found that those of us with little weight to drop have to micro-manage this thing. I can't eat too much cheese and need to keep protein really really high. Higher than is recommended here (or anywhere else) but it works for me! I'm finding not too much that stalls me, other than portions...GOOD LUCK and welcome! It's tricky with only a bit to lose, but it works nonetheless..slowly and methodically, it works.
