    You're not doing anything "wrong" ... you should just make sure your Fitday entries match what you're eating.

    Entering sour cream from a fast food restaurant when that's not what you had is going to skew your data.

    And if you're getting cream cheese from a tub, make sure you read the ingredients!

      If you are following the 2002 plan (is that the copyright year of the book you read?) then you should be counting net carbs... and not only on Induction.

      You can find net carbs in FitDay by subtracting dietary fiber from the grams of carbohydrate. They are both displayed under your foods, in a panel that looks something like this:



      For the example above, you have 20.3 grams carbohydrate and 4.8 grams dietary fiber, so 15.6 net carbs.

          Welcome -- this way of eating goes against just about everything everyone has ever been taught but it works - and the proof can be seen in the posts here on this board. Stop stressing so much about gaining weight - read the book, follow the plan and you'll do fine. The first few days are the worst but as long as you are eating only food on the acceptable food list and are keeping track of everything you'll do fine.

          How much pure water do you drink daily? 64 ounces is the minimum and more is better. Also, exercise will help also -- it's considered mandatory so find something you like and do it. Take a non-iron vitamin daily also. Good luck!
