So Im new to this. Oddly enough I started this because I needed something to give up for Lent. One of the girls I work with told me to give up starches, shes on the diet and she said that I would love it once I finally got into the swing of things. I really want to lose about 50lbs. Ive been trying to lose weight for a while now, with not much luck. I have been going to the gym every day and working out, I cut out soda, junk food, and fast food. I saw nothing. SO here I am, and this is so unlike me, Im very self consious about myself and my weight. So When I started this on Wendesday I took my measurements.

Today...Sunday..4 days later, I measured again and have lost 4 in.

I was really happy about this and its good motivation to keep on, so I guess well see what happens next week.
