  • This is so not like me

    So Im new to this. Oddly enough I started this because I needed something to give up for Lent. One of the girls I work with told me to give up starches, shes on the diet and she said that I would love it once I finally got into the swing of things. I really want to lose about 50lbs. Ive been trying to lose weight for a while now, with not much luck. I have been going to the gym every day and working out, I cut out soda, junk food, and fast food. I saw nothing. SO here I am, and this is so unlike me, Im very self consious about myself and my weight. So When I started this on Wendesday I took my measurements.
    B- 42
    W- 41
    H- 43

    Today...Sunday..4 days later, I measured again and have lost 4 in.

    B- 41
    W-39
    H- 42


    I was really happy about this and its good motivation to keep on, so I guess well see what happens next week.

    Wow, your inches loss is fantastic!

      me too... but it's a fact.. I'm fat... and I'm here to do something about it... once and for ALL!!

      I even put my pic here this time.. to remind me just how fat i am!

        Welcome -- hope you decide to make Atkins your lifestyle after lent is over. Make sure you eat the proper foods off the acceptable food list, drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a good vitamin with no iron.

          Thanks! Ive researched what foods I can eat and what I cant. Im reading the labels at the stores before i buy anything. I also have been drinking water like crazy before I started, I have a multi-vitamin I take and I have omega-3 that I take. I know one I start seeing the weight come off Im not gonna stop. I know I can do this!
