    Hello! My name is Melissa, I'm 25 and starting on my induction tomorrow. I have read DANDR and I'm ready to change my family's eating habits for good! I'm hoping this board can provide me with inspiration and support, and I look forward to making some new friends

          Hi Melissa --

          If you need meal suggestions to help plan your meals for a few days Linda's recipe site is very helpful with delicious recipes - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html

          Eat foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html, eating a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs” (carb minus fiber equal net carbs).

          Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily.

          Good luck....if you need anything we try to help each other here as much as possible
