Hi, My name is Dee and I'm 41 and fixing to start this Atkins Diet with my hubby...We're totally unsure of what we can/cant eat so I'm still trying to figure it all out. My hubby keeps wondering about fruits...are they acceptable? Which ones are acceptable? I'm really hoping this works for us. If anyone can help with any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to let me know.

    Thanks.

    Welcome to ADBB, Dee.

Do you have a copy of the book, Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002)? You really need one to help you get from Induction to Maintenance ...

You can get a jump start here:

Hello, and happy Friday to you all in Low Carb Land. I tried to get away with it, but I just can't do it anymore. I thought I'd do my own modified induction, and I.

As a teacher, this time of year is hard. Two words....spring parties. My sixth grade class asked for a spring party and I happily obliged them. Today I was faced with.

but the above is no substitute for having a copy of the book!

Fruits are not acceptable on Induction, but they do come back during OWL.

I actually eat more fruit now than before Atkins!
