  • On my mark, get set, go.....

    Ready to really give this an honest and serious try. Did try induction many many years ago, and I can't remember if it was working, or how long my wife and I stayed on it. Married with no kids (4 legged types only). Was more for weight for me, and energy/feeling good to her (and me too). She is ~5'5" and ~115lbs, so she already must have a good metabalism; as she can eat cookies, icecream, breads, pasta, etc. But she only does in moderation, and only once in awhile.

    Age: 42
    Height 6'0" Weight 296 lbs.

    According to the "charts", I need to lose ~112 lbs, and my plan is to hopefully do this in a years timeframe. I don't plan on measuring myself (arms, legs, thighs, hips ,etc.), as I want to make my attempt not cumbersome. I will weigh myself weekly, and track. I have creaed an account on fitday, and am tracking my foods.

    I will win this race.....

    it's just not fair sometimes.. lol.. the ones born with the 'eat anything and never gain' genes.. or the 'able to control and eat normal portions' genes..

    you'll make it... at my last doctor weigh in .. I was 194.8... and I DO NOT want to break into the 200 club (I'm a 5'4 ... 54 year old female)..

    I'm sure you will win this race.. !
    2-15-10 194.8 - highest ever!
    2-20-10 190.4 - new scale
    3-20-10 177.8 - 1 month
    5-10-10 169.8 - 25 pounds gone!

      180 - High School grad weight - Met May 5, 2010
      163 - No longer obese______
      136 - No longer overweight (yes, I know this is lower than my goal weight)
