    Hello i am so pleased to be here this moment has been a long time coming still! my start weight is 172lbs and i am 5ft 3ins tall my goal is 120lbs I have done atkins once before many moons ago so know it works for me. Pleased to meet you all

        Welcome. You are right--it will work again. It seems to work differently each time you try it. Your age, hormone levels, start weight, yoyo dieting, etc. all affect your weight loss pattern so just try not to compare how it worked last time to how it works this time. Its a brand new game. Have patience, stick to the plan, and you will do fine. We use the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) on this site. Wishing you a clean Induction and some good results!

          thank you everyone for being so welcoming i am using the orange book hope thats the right one, is there a lot of difference between books? today was great tomorrow I shop because my downfall is being unprepared and running out of food and eating any old rubbish. Thanks again night rose

                Thanks yes i am on the right book; day 3 has been different! i seem to be fuzzy brained, tired and of all things tearful. sorry i have to share with you cause if i tell anyone here they will say " thats what you get for doing atkins have a nice piece of cake, chocolate etc" I am bad at the water drinking so that will be tomorrows plan. its great to read everyones positive and determined comments, i will be one of those people soon

                  Looks like you have what we call induction flu. You are transitioning to fat burning - that is great. It will pass soon
