  • Hey everyone...............

    .................My names Tony.

    I just started my induction last Tues. (on day 4) Felt horrible yesterday morning. Steadily getting better.

    I have slowly gained weight over the last few years. Looking to get back to where I want to be. I lift weights 3 days a week pretty religously. Cardio on the other hand is an off and on struggle for me. I generally do much better in the summer.

    I work for a fire department. The number one cause of on duty deaths of firefighters in this this country is heart attack. That's right..........heart attack. I don't want to be one of those statistics. I'm also just looking for a little better health and well being.

    ...................I'm feeling pretty good about this.

    I'm VERY glad I found this forum.

      Welcome Tony and congratulations on choosing to take care of yourself now and not waiting. Unfortunately the statistic holds true for alot of our public servants, and it breaks my heart to watch.

      Read the book, ask lots of questions, and When you feel tempted (and yes, it happens) keep reminding yourself why you are doing this, and come to this board often for support.

                  That my name on some other forums I frequent. I think at the time time I was trying over and over again to choose an ID and they kept coming back "already in use". Out of frustration I entered Bean Dip, Cause that's what I was snackin on at that moment. It worked..........and Bean Dip was born..................
