    Hi, I'm new to the board. Have been trying atkins without support and have realised I've made a few mistakes so now I have a renewed enthusiasm for it

      Welcome to the ADBB! Good to have you here with us. You'll get lots of support and inspiration here.
      I'd advise you read the book as soon as you can. Knowing the science behind the plan is a huge help. The edition we go by here is the 2002 version of Dr Atkin's New Diet Revolution (DANDR). This was the last book Dr A wrote in its entirety before his death, so hasn't been messed around by other "pens".
