Hello fellow Canuck! I'm just starting too and really looking forward to the scale heading in the OTHER direction!

      Age:33/female Height:5'8"
      Start weight:226lbs/bmi 34.4
      Current weight:220lbs
      Goal weight:140lbs

      Milestones
      195 not obese anymore (bmi)
      180 old "fat weight"
169 breaking 170 for the first time after
      many diets and many years.
      160 not overweight anymore (bmi)
150 probably starting to look like my old
      again.

Re: shanny from canada, new chick

In the first 2 weeks I lost a good amount of weight. But it has slowed down to about 1lb a week! I would like it to be more, but as long as the scale is moving and the inches are melting...I am happy with that

HW-162/SW-152/CW-140/GW-130...and than some later if needed!

        First goal met 10lbs down
now on for the next 10

One pound per week is fabulous! I have been losing but have been estimating my diet too much. I think things will go faster when I get my butt in gear and start writing things down!
