Well hello to you, gentle reader. I was eating low carb a couple years back, did really well, and then moved to Mexico where it was impossible to maintain.
Anywhoo... I'm back into living la low carb life and I think I've messed up some things as I'm frozen at this weight and haven't lost (although the scale goes up and down over the same three pounds) for a full month of my three months eating low carb. The inches are also at a stall out. I did start exercising a week or so ago (c25k), and I've always swam several times a month. I'm conscientious about logging my water, what I eat, and my exercise, the Low Carb Diet Assistant app on the iPhone is AMAZING (although it doesn't log exercise).
Basically, I've moved up the rungs (freakily in the correct order), without even knowing what they were. Because I kept thinking I was on induction still; I haven't gone above 20 net carbs (very recently 25). I've just eaten lower carby veggies and had room within the 20 for extra veggies, fresh cheeses, nuts, the occasional gin and diet tonic (2 in total), and twice so far ¼ cup of black beans. I've had a total of 8 Atkin's products (shakes or bars) in the last two months, so I don't think that's what's stalling me.
I guess I'd just like y'alls advice.
