    Hello to all.

    Did the Atkins thing about 5yrs ago. Lost 50lbs in 3 months. Thought that was too fast. Got off of it to slow down. (groan). Never got back on. gained it back. Now doing it again, however, it's going VERY slow this time. Started back on it Sept 1, '09.
    Glad to see this board. I need all the tips you can provide and the encouragment.

    213 - 50% of the way to goal - Met October 21, 2009
    Onederland - Met December 23rd, 2009
    180 - High School grad weight - Met May 5, 2010
    163 - No longer obese______
    136 - No longer overweight (yes, I know this is lower than my goal weight)

      Welcome to the ADBB!

      Sometimes slower is better because it gives your body time to adjust and be content with the lower weight so don't give up. It will happen!
