Welcome to the boards. Have you read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution? That is the book we go by on this board.

    It is very helpful.

i havent brought a copy of the new book as i still have the old one, is it worth buying, is there much difference between the two books?

i have told my kiddies to hide their sweets from me, as i tend to turn into some kind of savage when the cravings kick in and i go on the hunt for sugar

I know how you feel about the sugar cravings... I used to have the worst... Very grumpy girl... I thought they would never go away...lol... But eventually they did and now I do not even think about sugar at all... Eating this way has just become a normal way of life now...

Yes, it is worth it - there are significant differences. You can get copies very economically at thrift shops or online.

For the most benefit I would suggest you do get a copy of the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution -- you can find them online normally around $5.00 including shipping (try www.amazon.com or www.half.com).

Good luck to you -- stay away from the sweets it will only keep you in the cycle you were in before starting.

Yes, there's enough of a difference.
