    His older one! I don't have it cause I gave it to my cousin to use! I know it isn't in the book just veggies and meat mainly for induction~ I was just saying if you feel a need to cheat.

      So you're advising people to "cheat" with a product that isn't allowed.

      As stated, the book that's followed on this forum is the 2002 edition.

        Having a finger cut off is also better than being decapitated, but that doesn't mean you need to choose between the two.

        If one wants cream on Atkins, one is allowed to have real cream... the stuff that you whip yourself.

          That is bad advice!

          There are fudge ice cream bars by carb smart that are fantastic!!
          They are not allowed on Induction though. They would be allowed in OWL Rung 2, although they are not the ideal "food" to add.

          Plus at walmart in the drug store section they have Atkins almost like a baby ruth bars and peanut butter cups!!
          Also not allowed on Induction.

          And even in OWL, all these products... bars, ice cream, peanut butter cups... are still "products", not the whole foods Dr. Atkins recommended.

            I should also remind everyone here that ADBB follows the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, and the advice in all our forums is given accordingly.

              As spotlight moderator I am also just echoing what Georgiana is saying. We are Atkins 2002 followers here and our mission is to help people who want to follow this programme. Telling newbies to do other things is not acceptable

                Okay, So .... It has been only four days. I decided to weigh myself, which I knew I shouldn't have but I couldn't resist the curiosity! I do believe it is better than weighing myself everyday, but I was really shooting for once a week.

                Anyways, weighed myself and I lost 4.5 lbs !! Sure it could be water weight or what not, but I am SO excited. I am almost on the way to the 160s!!

                Good luck to everyone! Reinforcement for me to just take one day at a time , enjoying life and the NEW me. No more rain cloud (or sugar highs) for this chick! I'd take happiness over ice cream or a cupcake ANYDAY!! I'm feeling like myself again
