Re: no weight loss at day 12 induction ??
Thank you for the encouraging words. I signed up for Fit Day and here is my link:

I only added foods for yesterday and the day before, but I basically eat the same foods every day, so there wouldn't be much change.
Two changes I also made on this most recent induction phase:
1) Significant decrease in salt - thought I would try to see if that would help.
2) Lower temperature of cooking meats - I thought I was cooking my meats at a low enough temp, but I decided to cook it on absolute low to see if that helped any.
I have been exercising 5-6 days a week for the past 5 weeks and this past week injured my knee, so I've been off the exercise and just ice-ing and elevating constantly. As soon as it feels better, I will be back at the exercise.
My father (who is a dietitian) is absolutely baffled as to why I am not seeing any change, not even with my measurements. He feels the exercise alone should be changing me. I don't know, 5 weeks of no results is extremely frustrating. Me going off of this diet would simply mean that Atkins is not for me. I would still continue eating healthy and exercising and just bringing in whole grains, which I miss so dearly. I have never showed so much dedication to a diet and it's nice that I've been through it for 5 weeks, but no results is, as I said before, frustrating. I appreciate everyone's support through this, but I will most likely stop my diet at the end of Sunday. Maybe this diet just isn't for me and my body type. I feel healthy and I guess that's the most important achievement. Thank you.
