Hi, everyone!
I'm new to the Atkins Diet Bulletin Board, but not so new to the Low Carb way of life!
Last January (2009), I found out that I was gluten-intolerant. I was then a size 20. Thanks to a gluten-free diet and regular cardio exercise, I managed to get down to a size 16/18. My husband and I spent the summer with his extended family in the Middle East (Lebanon). It was a great experience! While there, though, I accidentally ate some bulgur wheat. It had been hidden in a traditional salad, of all random things! It was the last straw! I finally said "NO!" to both gluten and carbs, and haven't looked back since.
A year later, I am at 5ft 5," 175lbs, and a size 12. Still need to lose these last 30lbs, though!
I look forward to getting to know all of you! I'm sure your stories are incredibly inspirational! I'm also interested in sharing recipes!
Sincerely,
LittleFlower
