Hi
I've just started my second day of Induction. I've actually got at least 50lbs :yikes to lose, things have got out of control since I had a hysterectomy two years ago, and a Gall Bladder removal two years before that. After the latter, my doctor told me I'd never lose weight - has anyone else lost weight on any diet after Gall bladder removal or do I just need to change my doctor?!
So far it's going great, there are just a couple of little things I'd like to ask about..
Is it possible to use a little semi skimmed milk instead of cream in coffee, I'm really not a cream fan and it's always made me feel sick - if it's not possible I guess I'll have to take it black- also would a couple of cups of tea in the afternoon (with the aforementioned semi skimmed) do me any real harm? I honestly don't drink much, three cups a day max.
These are the only real drawbacks as far as I can see so far. I've always tried the "starvation" method of dieting before (many years ago I used to suffer from bulimia). I'm not much of a big eater, people are always surprised how little I eat for my size, I've realised it was WHAT I was eating that was the problem, not how much.
It's bliss to find a diet that lets you eat cheese too!
This is a great site, I'm going to put some time together this afternoon so I can go through it thoroughly, but a big thank you to all who have put it together, I have a husband who is very anti low carb diets so it's great to find some support elsewhere.
Many thanks
