so i am hitting up a halloween party which i have never partied it up on halloween and i already have tons of temptations. food. someone asked me to make a cake! i will i have no problem with the cake part but i do have a problem wanting to socially drink with all my friends. especially since i have been working so hard to get some debt paid and i have not relaxed in a while. and i love to drink with my homies! i dont ever get to see them and it will kind of be like a reunion. man im stuck wow. i want to have some drinks . i think the best way for me to not get caught up in the food is 1) most of the food is healthy 2) eat before i go 3) i hate cream cheese so that helps! she's making lots of food with cream cheese. well this may help but im still wanting to eat chips and salsa and drink beer. god this is going to suck. man oh man. ive been feeling like crap lately just because of the not eating carbs. my energy was so low yesterday and today its a little low but higher and my cheeks are a little warm i get mini hot flashes. so i know kenosis is hitting. i had headaches yesterday and i am a little aggitated. everything is pissing me off. god i cant wait until work is done. im here right now. and they want me to PH urine GOD!!!
alright everything will be ok

Ask yourself this one thing "Will it hurt me to refuse all my favorite things for 1 solitary holiday season so that I can finally get healthy and get rid of all these bad eating habits that have been following me around?"
I mean, if you can get through Halloween without jumping off the wagon and running for that beer perhaps you can get through Thanksgiving without gorging on mashed potatoes, or Christmas with Gramma's fudge (I'm channeling here, please forgive). And you CAN get through Halloween.
Just picture in your mind how you will look NEXT year at that same Halloween party compared to this year if you truly stick to your plan. Right? You seeing it? Damn Sarah, fishnets??? Woohoo!
So, make a plan. Eat before you go. Bring some drinks of your own, something that is a treat but not off plan...like one of those Fruit2Os without the sugar or something. Bring some snacks you can eat with you. Be prepared.
My hunny and I are throwing a halloween bash this year and there will be lots of food we can't eat, but also lots of food we can. We think that this way we can at least have options and not feel so left out. You can do it too!
Getting through the Ketosis entry is hard, heck, the first two weeks are hard. I'm a raging nasty when I'm doing Induction after eating carbs for a while...which is why I try to keep my oops days to oops meals instead. Each day you will feel better and each day will get easier. Promise!
