So today I ordered a Venti Coffee with heavy whipping cream from my usual hang out, the barista asked me if I was on Atkins. It was a nice moment in my day. The other day a coworker said that she could tell I was losing weight especially in my face. Sweet.
I do feel like I am losing weight. I have lost over 3 inches off my waist, maybe more because I didn't measure until two weeks in. Cooking Atkins meals has become a favorite hobby of mine. Each day trying to come up with something different.
I have been reading a lot of books lately instead of watching the boob tube as usual. The ones I read this month were Chelsea Handler's Are you there Vodka? It's me, Chelsea. Hilarious. And a biography of Julius Caesar by Philip Freeman. I am 3/4 through Ancient Rome: An Introductory History by Paul Zoch. I'm reading the historical books for fun believe it or not. Lol.
In a week or two I may weigh and decide if my diet is working like I planned or if I need to step it up some. Today is day 10 of my re-induction with no cheats.
Also it needs to stop raining here in Houston so I can go to the dog park with my dog.

Ancient roman and greek history is one of my passions. I am currently in Turkey where I have a holiday home. I am about a mile from the temple of appolo at didim (cool ancient roman/helenic temple), about 20 miles from miletos (ancient roman/helenic harbour city) and about 50 miles from Ethesos (ancient roman/helenic city where Mark antony was the governer).. its great to look at the people behind these places, in particular the common working people who made the building blocks which made these great cities... and now I am wondering how many of them struggled with weight and how atkins friendly their diet was!!
well done with sticking to your re-induction, your going to do just great!
