I know I said I wasn't going to weigh until December, but I lied. I weighed on my grandparent's scale this evening and it read 255lbs. I asked if their scale was off but grandpa said that it was "about right" cause he just went to the doctors. I guess it could be, but I won't take this as a real number until I check with the doctor's scale.

I know in August 2008 I weighed 285lbs at a physical and it only went up from there. I know this because my same pants and shirts kept getting tighter. So I reckon it's a 30 - 40 lbs loss since September 2009 when I began this. Yay? It seems like too much.

I cheated on Thanksgiving day, but the carby things I kept smaller portions. I am back on plan today.

Defending Atkins moment: My aunt asked me what I was doing to lose weight. I said not eating sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls lol and I pointed to my plate. Low Carb. She inquired about it being bad for cholesterol, blood pressure etc. Ha! I said my total cholesterol was 177, my blood pressure was around 118/74 usually now, my blood sugar was 74 fasting, usually 70s. Ha! I throw statistics at you.

Then she said her friend was doing gluten free. I said this too is gluten free but I am able to feel full and still have energy. Also, I didn't tell her but my amenorrhea from pcos has completely regulated back to normal these past few months. It may be a miracle. It's certainly not coincidence.

Today I ate:
Coffee w/Heavy Whipping Cream
Burger, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Walnuts

That's all I wanted to eat today. I will probably be back in ketosis tomorrow or the next day.
