  • Induction Snacks - What do you eat?

    Hello Everyone

I am looking for a variety of healthy snacks on induction. I would also appreciate hearing about portion sizes. Here are the ones we are using.

    - 1 oz cheese (gouda, cheddar)
    - 1/4 cup of tuna or salmon with mayo
    - 1/2 cup cubed meat (ham, pork, chicken etc.)
    - 1 stalk of celery with cream cheese
    - pickle

Sometimes (especially sweetie man) will be hungry between meals and snacks ... so he usually satisfies it with a slice of cheese. What does everyone else do?

I usually have string cheese, or pepperoni slices, black olives, some cooked bacon that I did the night before. That sort of thing.

I'm gonna make a pile of meatballs, about 1" size with a bunch of different seasonings and freeze 'em so I can just pop a couple out and nuke 'em for a snack

              I do either:

              cashew nuts
              string cheese
              diet jello

              These work for me. :yes

Just discovered Flax Crackers! OMG! So good and crunchy smeared with a little cream cheese! VERY FILLING!

                2 tbsp flax meal
                1 tbsp water

make a paste and spread on to parchment paper shaping into cracker shapes with butter knife. Sprinkle with a little kosher salt and nuke for 1 1/2 minutes...turning over halfway through! Usually makes 2-3 crackers depending on how thin you spread them...but believe me...that's all you'll need...I feel like I just ate a meal!

2 string cheese and 6 grape tomatoes.

2 hard boiled eggs and celery stalk.

When I freak out and I'm hungry I go for the hard stuff; bacon and pork rinds!!!
