How many grams does a stick of butter weight?

Made them for the first time tonight. Mmmmmm... The best thing is that I could not eat a lot. They were too sweet for me...not that they were TOO sweet...it's just that I can't tolerate too many sweets. I ate a few and have about 20 baggies in my freezer for later (I doubled the recipe because I had company, but a lot of them are left over).

How long do these keep in the freezer? I imagine I'll have them for a while.

        Isn't a stick equivalent to 1/4 cup?

Maybe it was just me, but the cheese taste was too strong? Any ideas to alter that?

Ummm, maybe use less cheese and maybe add some heavy whipped cream?

I made these tonight with a little da vinci sugar free caramel syrup and they are AMAZING.

            Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

                Chocolate Clouds

I got this one in my "Candy Lovers" recipes letter yesterday and thought I should share it here.

                Chocolate Clouds

8 oz. Cream Cheese - room temperature
                1/2 c. unsalted butter - room temperature
1/2 c. artificial sweetener - Splenda or Equal
                1 t. chocolate extract
                1 oz. baker's chocolate melted

                How to Prepare:

Melt baker's chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds on high, check, then microwave at 10 second intervals until melted.

Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Drop by small spoonfuls onto baking sheet and freeze. Store in a zip lock bag or covered freezer-proof container.

These look delicious. Unfortunately I don't have any unsalted butter in the house so they won't get made tonight.

If you make the clouds 1/2 tsp. in size as the recipe calls for, how many clouds will there be? (I know there are 18 carbs in the whole recipe; I just need to know how to break that down into servings).

I made my clouds the other night and we have been enjoying these sweet little snacks.

I rolled half of mine in unsweetened coconut and rolled the other half in cocao. They really looked pretty in the heirloom candy dish that has been sitting empty since the Atkins induction.

                        I made these today. OMG!!!!!!!!!!

I did half the batch with just vanilla in them (they're ok) BUT the other half I used SF hazelnut syrup!! EXCELLENT!!!!!

                        reformed chocoholic......

I used a tsp. instead of a 1/2 tsp to measure mine out. Made 54. So 3 of them will be a carb.

that sounds so good. So I am allowed to eat them during induction? I do not have any of the ingredients to make them but i want some so bad

These are soo very good, I've made them once. I have not made again cause I'm too scared to. You get addicted and have cravings afterward. Or at least in my case. This is pretty much why I have retired this and mock danish. They make me nuts!

                                HaleyRose.....

I've never used Stevia. Is it liquid? Powder?

The recipe calls for 1/4 c. Splenda (or 6 packets)
Each packet sweetens like 2 tsp. of sugar

So if your Stevia says how much of it it takes to sweeten like regular sugar , that's how much you'd use in the recipe.

                                Hope that made sense! lol
