110gramsHow many grams does a stick of butter weight?
Check your own carb counts on this one. This is hilarious. The answers on this posts have different numbers. I'd prefer to check my package labeling and then maybe add as much as two carbs for the percentages not calculated. There must be a difference in the cream cheese brands everyone is using.Whole recipe 18 carbs
Carbs: 8g
Sugar: 8g
ensive
Use your calculator if necessary. The size you make will always be different than your neighbor's. Just take the total carbs and divide by the number of squares, balls or dollops you make to have the carb per piece.
I prefer to divide the batter first in half to get two 4ounces daily allowances of cheese than divide each of those in to four 1ounce servings of cheese. Then making my little balls from one ounce and packaging one ounce serving sizes in the freezer. This helps keep me from overdoing my cheese limits
.
If that has been hard to follow :confused let me shorten it. Divide the mixture in 8 equal cheese servings. Then divide the total carbs by 8 to get the carb count per (one ounce cheese) serving.

I have heard these mentioned in SO many posts I had to come here and find the recipe. I'm so sad it's mostly cream cheese (yuck!). Anyone made these who doesn't care for cream cheese and think they are good??Re-Started 3/9/05

Ok, I found this recipe yesterday and last night I just HAD TO make them.
The recipe is just so easy that even I didn't goof up.
But there's one problem.... THEY ARE GOOD!! THEY ARE YUMMIE!! :joy
Shawny said they tasted like cheese cakes. I think it tastes likes creamy icecream.
Anyway, I only took six little clouds with me this morning to work... more clouds waiting for me in the freezer tonight.
Thanks for this wonderful recipe.Luciënne

I made this today and it was WONDERFUL. I was a little skeptical, to be honest. I measured very carefully, used unsalted butter, and used the 1/2 teaspoon to dish out my clouds. I got a ton of them out of this recipe...about 82 of them total, which makes them about .2 carbs or so per piece.
Oh, they are going to be hard to resist!! I HIGHLY recommend these to everyone.
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!**************

I haven't read through all of these posts so someone may have already suggested this. I was also having trouble with the 1/2 size...was kinda messy.
I put the mixture in a zip lock bag, squeezed it all down into one corner and then snipped off a very small piece to make a hole. Then I could squirt little dots onto my wax paper. (like decorating a cake) This gave me tiny portions so I can feel like I'm having more.
Probaby could go so far as to put into a pastry bag with a decorative tip and make stars, or flowers.Stacey
