How long can you keep cooked bacon in the fridge?

    Thanks!

I've kept it about 5 days without any problem. Just make sure you put it in a container with a lid.

Unless it's a low salt/nitrate free bacon (which I don't even think exists), it will last for a very long time. Smoking, salting and curing are all powerful preservatives. I'd say bacon will last for at least 3 months, but if you want to be extra specially careful, then eat it within a month. If you know you're not going to eat it for longer than 3 months, I'd freeze it. It freezes indefinitely.

That's what I thought, they sell cooked chopped up bacon in little bags and in jars and the expiration dates on those is really long!

Thanks! It won't last a month so I'm sure we're okay!

Heck, it might not even last the week!
