Yorkshire pudding is good though. Especially with roast beef. Mmmmmm.

Sorry Rich. I'm pretty sure congealed pigs blood mixed with oatmeal is not a good thing to eat. Not not not!!!!!

What's white pudding? We have vanilla, banana and coconut pudding. They are all white.

White pudding is the same as black pudding, but its white LOL.

Its savoury and traditionally Irish, but I have absolutely no idea of the ingredients.

Serioulsy LIR, the congealed pigs bloods stuff is much much nicer than it actually sounds!

Eleonore, I like your menu. If you want a green salad, you can serve that chevre as part of a bitter greens salad (endive, arugula/rocket, etc.) Either serve it plain on the salad or roll the chevre into balls, coat lightly with olive oil and roll in fresh chopped herbs.

If you are in OWL nut rung, roll the chevre into discs, then coat lightly with olive oil and then coat it in finely crushed nuts. Put the chevre discs into the freezer for an hour or so, then put them into a hot oven and let the nut crust toast. Serve warm.

If you are in OWL grains rung/ Pre-Maintenance, use a 50-50 mix of finely crushed nuts and bread crumbs as the coating.

For breakfast no less!!! Well, I guess we know how Rich lost all his weight. I would think anyone would be turned off all food if they had to eat this (sorry Rich and anyone else who thinks this is yummy). Mog, it looks kinda green in that picture.

lol look what i started by saying pud!! black pudding is really yummy and ive got to agree with rich its not as bad as it sounds at all - and neither is haggis! lol but anyway, white pudding up here we usually get from a chippy in batter, its the exact same as oatmeal stuffing, except with more fat to keep it together and then deep fried in batter.. and if you think thats bad, im from the home of the deep fried mars bar! lol

Oh, here in the South they'll deep fry anything that'll fit in the vat of lard! We have fried mars bars, fried snickers, fried twinkies etc etc etc! Even fried dill pickles!

                            I'm guessing a "chippy" is a fryer?

Well, it is over for us, it is now 1000am Wednesday here. We had

Entree: smoked salmon (DB had his plus pate on bread)

Mains: proscuitto wrapped chicken with cheese and mushrooms and herbs in the middl, baked in the oven; with oven roast potato, parsnip and carrot (chopped into big pieces, sprayed with olive oil and sprinkled with herbs in pyrex dishes in very hot oven - I only had 4 potato pieces); and steamed green beans, snow peas, yellow squash, cauliflower and broccoli

Dessert: strawberries with heavy cream for me, with ice cream and melted dark chocolate for B

A bottle of Poet's Corner semillon/sauvignon blanc/ chardonnay white blend wine (one 4 oz glass for me)

We had a very nice night at home.
