        Re: dinner time?

The recipe is from Jaffrey's book. I think the recipe is called chicken in a light tomato sauce. Anyhow, it's chicken simmered in an onion, garlic, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, chili (I don't have the dried chili, but I have some fresh jalapenos and will use that), cloves, tomato, and something else. I chopped the onion, ginger, jalapeno and garlic this morning and will toss it in the blender, along with the other spices, when I get home. I'm using boneless, skinless chicken thighs, so it won't matter if I overcook the meat or not.

Well, I had to come here and post about that recipe.....It's simmering away right now and probably needs another 15 or 20 minutes. It smells fabulous! My whole house smells fabulous!

And the cooking technique is giving me ideas on how to adapt some other recipes I have.....

It was good. But my jalapeno wasn't as spicy as I would have liked it to be. I'll copy the recipe tonight and post it tomorrow.

And for everyone who thought I was being a bit harsh yesterday when i called Heidi stupid.

I was honestly only joking, it was a timing thing.

                      Much love.
