  • Just a quickie !

    Are onion granuals ok on induction? If so, how many carbs?

    And also, are curry powders ok as long as they only have the spices in and no sugar?

    Are they the dehydrated onions or some form of garlic or salt or sugar in them? Look at the ingredient list and post exactly what it say...

      Curry powder has 3.66 g of carbs - 2.09 g fiber for a net carb count of 1.57 carbs per Tablespoon. As long as you count the carbs, spices are fine!

        I've got it in front of me now, its from Tesco but it hasn't any ingredients listed on it, so totally baffled???

          What exactly does the label say? It should have some smal print somewhere with at least a single ingredient...hmmm. Just give me what ya got

            I googled for the Tesco Onion Granules but I only found onion granules with other ingredients like gravy powder, etc. If that is what you have then definitely stay away!

            Dehydrated onion has 4.16 carbs and 0.46 fiber for a net carb count of 3.7 net carbs if that helps!

              Thanks for the info on the curry powder, thats not too bad on carbs! phew !

              Now back to the onion granuals, this is what it says: On front; onion granuals has a wholesome aroma with a sweet rounded flavor. on the side; may contain traces of nuts, and thats all I got! ??? Errr, so what about garlic salt? Would you say that was ok?
