Holy CRAP!! These are soooo goood!!!!!!!!!!!
Like I sad above, I do not have any syrp. I used some splenda and instead of 2 tables of cinn I used 1 table and then 1 table of pumpkin spice. Oh lord, so good!!
Ya know what would make them even better? Adding some shredded zucchini!! I used to love zucchini bread!

I've been making these for a long time... and have modified it to lower the carb count even more.

I usually make a double-batch.... but still spread it into 12 muffins. the cinnamon and the vanilla bring the carb count up a little.... so I leave them out, and my muffins are still only .5 carb, even though they are double-size. I save 8.4 net carbs per batch by leaving out 4 tbls of cinnamon and 2 tbls vanilla in my double-recipe.

The best batches I've made were with:

Chocolate Extract and Chocolate DiVinci Syrup
Orange Extract an Orange DiVinci Syrup
No Extract and Strawberry Atkins Syrup

I'm also a vegetarian, and I've found a number of your posts useful in the months I've been lurking these boards. So I guess I should say "HI!" :wave and thanks for everything! :hug

I made the muffins, my husband ate 9 on Sunday a.m. while I was letting them cool to put them in a plastic bag for freezing! I will add a little sweetener next time, but they were really good. I made the almond crackers and they were good too, but needed to be a little thinner or cook a little longer.

I'm sure some of you have already done this with the muffins - but anyway I slice open the muffin and put a pat of butter on it and heat in the oven. When toasted I take out and put Atkins maple syrup on it. It just soaks right in and is soooooooooo..... good. This is the only thing I have really liked the atkins maple syrup on.

I actually use fake vanilla extract which doesn't have corn syrup or sugar in it, and I use Irish Cream Splenda syrup. I also have Chocolate sf syrup that I'll try next time.
I love heating them up with a bit of butter on the top and letting it soak in. Can't get enough!

Try to find the brand of syrup that is in the picture of the waffles....it is SOOOOO much better than Atkins. it doesn't have an after taste and is really quite good. I'll have to try it on the muffins, that sounds really good too!!!!

                        Missy

By the way; I've made them with Chocolate syrup and they turned out great!!

Everyone.....you MUST try the Enchiladas!!! I had company over Sunday and they asked for seconds!!! :joy Never even thought it was low carb!!! The crepes are tricky to make but just follow the directions to a tee and you won't have a problem!! WELL worth it!!!! Served them with a huge romaine, tons of avacodos and tomato(roma) salad tossed with blue cheese dressing!!! Sprinkled with roasted sunflower seeds. SO good!!! :nod
