Nothing exciting here either. The last of the grilled chicken I made last weekend and some cherry tomatoes.

How can anyone not like prosciutto????? What kind do you get over there in the States? Here, it just melts in your mouth... and I have to say I adore it! Have to limit it though as it's quite sodium high. But in summer when the melons are ripe....

Speaking of Proscuitto, there's a recipe I'm trying to copykat, but so far it's not working for me. It's sliced marinated portabello mushrooms, cheese, and spinach, wrapped in a slice of proscuitto, and I don't know if they fry or broil it or what, but the proscuitto is crispy and delish. Had it at a good italian restaurant.

Anyway, dinner last night was hamburger patties topped with sauteed mushrooms and horseradish cheddar cheese, a green salad with olive oil and shredded parm, and pepper, and sliced tomatoes on the side.

Tonight I'm marinating my steaks in this...

Maybe balsamic vinegar? That's what i tasted. I just don't know how to make the proscuitto crispy.

MOG, it was great. I'll have to post some pictures in the food picture thread.

Had the pork leftovers tonight with some stir-fry vegetables and a bit of terriyaki sauce. I know, I know, 2 g sugar in 2 Tablespoons for a big pan full!

Dinner came out well even though it sounds boring when I try to describe it.

We had chicken breasts grilled with a nice barbecue rub on them and cabbage and onions sauteed in butter served on top of the chicken breasts. Ground sea salt and black pepper on top of everything.

Seriously, it was better than how it sounds when I describe it.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.
