So, what did all you folks who tried the Gargonzola cheese sauce think of it. Tasty? I haven't tried it yet, I was going to pick up the cheese at the store but the grocery budget was tight this weekend - we spent too much money at the petstore! LOL

I'm fixing the firecrackers tonight. I haven't tried the gorgonzola sauce yet, but yesterday I had burgers on the grill with the gorgonzola melted on top.... mmmmmmmmm.

Saturday did an AWESOME veggie shishkebab dinner, with zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms, onionis and peppers with greek dressing. Ate them all before we even got to the table. ALso grilled burgers, brat patties and hot dogs. Coleslaw on the side. No bake cheesecake from LInda's with spicd fresh peaches for dessert.

                      Sunday was taco salad.

                      Tonight is Taco Omelet.
What is it, a RACE? It's coming off, right????

I wasnt terribly impressed. I only liked the ones that were charred beyond belief. And then.. I screwed up and made enough for dinner, not taking into account that just maybe jalapenos are higher in carb (yikes) and they shouldnt be my only dinner item. (yowsers). The cheese added nothing to the grand scheme. (and the next morning after eating TEN jalapenos.... whew, I was a lil WARM)

I still love you and your bacon wrapped shrimp though.

no, not too hot. not enough flavors I guess. I used good bacon and good shrimp and all I could taste was the jalapenos. the cheese disappeared flavor wise. as did the shrimp. the poor bacon... if the jalapenos were done properly (ie, charred) the bacon was but a burnt memory. if the bacon was alright, the peppers werent soft.

Okay....I made the gorgonzola cheese sauce last night...to go with my steak...and ummm...it was good...it really was...BUT...it was WAYYYYYYYYY too rich for me. I only used like one maybe one and a half tablespoons on this huge steak that I had....and I had to scrape it over to the side after a few bites...it was just tooooooo rich. But it was good.....wait...I think I said that already.
