I have some cooked spaghetti squash. Usually we have it with alfredo or meat sauce or butter, garlic and parmesan. I'm kind of bored with all that. Tonight we are having grilled chicken that's been marinating in an Asian-type marinade (home made by me - nothing bad in it). So I was wondering.....do you think I could fry the squash with some garlic and soy sauce and get something kind of like Singapore noodles? I've never tried frying it. I just wondered if anyone had experimented in this way and what the results were.

Re: Stir-fried spaghetti squash?
Be careful if you do this otherwise you'll double cook the squash and it will become squishy.
So stirfry the garlic with the oil and add soy sauce, then toss the squash in it just to heat it through.~Megs~

Re: Stir-fried spaghetti squash?
Thanks Megs. I wasn't sure if it would become squishy or crunchy. I don't want squishy that's for sure.Female, 46yrs, 5'3"

Re: Stir-fried spaghetti squash?
Do you have a way to shred it BEFORE you cook it? Put it in raw and stir fry it that way...that way it would cook and crisp at the same time?
Warning, this is just a theory. I have never tried this stirfrysquash before. No money-back guarantee on this product.START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170
