LOL, Lynne we don't get canned pumkin anywhere over here. (Well I have never been able to find it anyway).

Megs, its not jackolantern pumkin, I though it was, but on the side of it is has a sticker that says "edible".

Megs, in the link Sadi gave it says not to rinse the seeds first, do you actually rinse yours or should I follow how they say to do it. My daughter loves the bagged pumpkin seeds so throught we could try this.

                    Re: I bought a pumpkin!

In case anyone else is looking for a pumpkin recipe here is one I have just uploaded into the recipe database that I adapted from a 'Pumpkin Bar' recipe
                    http://www.lowcarbrecipes.org/index....w&recipe_id=12

I have called it 'Butternut Squash Flax buns' (because I had the squash on hand and have run out of almonds) but the original recipe used ground almonds and mashed cooked pumpkin, and makes a much sweeter less 'nutty' tasting product.

Made using flax (linseeds in UK) and pumpkin would make it induction-legal.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I think they are usually identified by being pretty large.
