Ohhhhhhh................. pepper chips. My husband will LOVE these! (He is a pepper fanatic.)

I am kind of scatterbrained about checking threads, so I just got around to this one again!

      Thanks.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

        Re: Cheese Chips

well I made these late last night and had them with a "beverage"

fantastic!!! thanks so much!!! I used lots of fresh cracked pepper

they were kind of expensive because all I had was my good reggiano ..but you know what my husband and I figured for what a nice cocktail and a snack out would have cost us....we did fine with these

          Re: Cheese Chips

What "beverage" did you have? I only use parm reggiano cheese. I grew up eating that parm cheese out of a can and *shudder*. Good quality parm cheese is a lot more expensive then in the states though. However going out for cocktails and a snack would be more expensive.

            Re: Cheese Chips

we had some of the Corazon tequilla it was awesome with the chips

I pretty much would not call the stuff in a can parm that is for sure it tastes like soap!

I pay over 10 bucks here for a small piece of good parm it is quite expensive but worth ever bite

              Re: Cheese Chips

The stuff in the can smells like stinky feet to me. I never understood how my parents were able to put it on their spaghetti. Now my mother is into a whole foods, non canned type of diet and she doesn't get how she ate that either!

I pay around 9 dollars a pound for the good parm. I gotta hide it from my dh though. He can eat half a wedge in one sitting!

                Re: Cheese Chips

                Thank you for the cheese-tips!

My favourite snack is now simply some grated cheese on a plate - slam in the micro 1 minute. 'Til they Just about go a littel golden. Wait a few minutes, and you have a crunchy cheese snack! Spices rock too, of course.

You can also make taco shells out of grated cheese - I even sometimes make edible dishes for parties!
