    OMG THAT MARKET YOU GUYS!!!!!!
I wanted the caviar badly for 69 bucks an oz ..but oh well........I went for the Bulgarian feta, some really unusual gouda and some kiscaval (sp) cheese... a piece of Ukranian sausage I have never tried but the ingredients were in English no fillers or sugar...they had some double smoked very lean bacon ....hmmm what else ...olives ..... I passed on the stunning cakes they sell by the pound instead of piece!!! they were lovely to look at .....there were so many things to try ...I got my husband a loaf of Lithuanian bread that smells really good ...some mustard...that is it ..it was very fun!!!!

next time I am going for all those pickled fishes!!! they had all kinds of smoked, pickled and dried fish...very exciting ...

Re: TGIF what is for dinner?

Okay, so I coated my cod fillet with mayonnaise, old bay lemon & herb and dill weed. Then I made a crab meat stuffing with crab meat, celery bacon onion, cream and a piece of bread I bought from the health food store a long time ago thats made from almond flour. Its in the oven baking. The daikon I sliced and coated with olive oil and parmesan and it's baking.

I just opened my first purchase of Greek Yogurt...OMG I have been totally missing out!!!! I love eating sour cream and this is even better tasting than that! AND its got the good bacteria for my tummy. I'm ALL OVER THIS!

Heidi, the market sounds fabulous. Tomorrow I'm going to the Farmer's produce market here in Tampa. I'm going to get some Jicama, broccoli, snow peas, zucchini and whatever else floats my boat.

I've never had caviar. Well, I've had poor man's caviar. In Florida, we have a fish called "Mullet" and the eggs of this fish are called "Row" (or maybe Roe)...we like to fry the row and eat it. That's the closest I've ever had to caviar.

Love the sound of the cod and nuts. Love the sound of the market. Love Greek yogurt.

Oh boy, now I'm hungry! And... for dinner tonight... can't wait... it's all free range or fresh from the veggie garden stuff:

Home reared chicken cooked in pieces with onion, celery, carrot, wine, fresh sage, fresh rosemary, garlic.... olive oil, of course... cooked until the sauce is very very reduced... yummmmm.
Veggie is those cone shaped broccoflower cauliflowers with oil and lemon. Baked potato for hub.
Dessert... you guessed it: Greek yogurt with a couple of drops of sweetner (saccarin).

Tonight's dinner is red curry... It is sooo amazing. I followed your directions, Heidi. I stirfried chicken with veggies (I used zucchini, mushrooms, and onions), then added red chili paste and coconut milk and simmered that, adding fish sauce right before serving.

I actually did it. It is perfect.

                    And dinner is AWESOME!

And might I say that there is nothing in this world more beautiful than coconut milk.... It's so beautiful. It even smells heavenly.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Re: TGIF what is for dinner?

I'm doing a "fast food" menu tonight:

Stuffed burger, acorn squash fries, and celery salad.

The celery salad is 1 cup thinly sliced onion and 3 cups thinly sliced celery (of course!) tossed with a dressing of the juice of half a lime, a couple tablespoons white vinegar, a 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard. It's surprizingly tasty and nicely crunchy.

I made some red curry again for dinner... my husband was dying for some more since I made the batch the other night. I made it spicier tonight and added a ton more veggies. It was amazing. I can't believe how healthy it is! I keep feeling like I'm getting away with something... and finally a way to get him to eat his veggies...

My DH made dinner tonight, broiled pork chops and yellow squash fried in olive oil with some mushrooms. Yummy, and what made it even yummier was I didn't have to cook it.
