Nothing already cooked?
None of the things I listed require cooking! That's the beauty of them! Just open the fridge and grab what you like! I eat the cheese, peperoni, olives, pickles and nuts just as they are! And the Veggies, I eat raw dipped in the blue cheese dressing! Who needs cooking? :nono

My problem is that everything you said has a daily limit. That sometimes make me feel greedy :no
But I love blue cheese dressing as well ... and olives ... and cheese .. and everything! :sadblinky :confused
to be honest I do not really snack!! I love to just sit down and eat a great home cooked meal!...but I always keep a fritata ready for lunch or breakfast when I am in a hurry...in fact I just found last weeks :yikes :yikes :yikes ...my frig looks like Mogs with out the pepperoni...
when I have time I prep everything and stick it in the frig so I can cook awesome meals with little work....
I make sure I alwyas have boiled eggs, celery (cleaned and cutup), unsweetened peanutbutter, lactose free swiss cheese (lower in cals!) cooked ham, and some blue cheese/ranch dressing nd hand. I also love to have a chocolate/vanilla protein shake as a snack or smoothie with ice cubes and frozen blueberries. I'm also guilty of the occaisional low carb ice cream bar (but not too often after I have one i let the kids at 'em).
Recently I bought some almonds for snacks but had absolutely no self control (i have the same issue with pistachios, i should have known) . That put an end to that snacking idea.

Same to me!
Today I´m going to make blue cheese dressing. I´m envious :guns
I think like Mother of Gizmo! I keep the easy stuff, too. Pepperoni, some cheese blocks, a bowl of hard boiled eggs, dressing, cukes, mushrooms, lettuce, stuff like that.
Whatever is EASY. :nod
To help you with the limited amounts, use ziploc bags to portion your snacks, that way, when you open the fridge, just pick up a baggie and you don't have to worry about over indulging.

Especially for the nuts! Get those snack sized ziploc bags and the minute you come home from the store split the nuts up into 1 portion size servings and bag 'em! That is the only way I can keep control of the number of nuts I eat!
I don't snack a whole lot either, but I make sure there a low carb things available just in case! I'm like nurselady, I prefer to fix a nice home cooked meal to sit down to, I'm not very often hungry in between meals.
Another thing I keep around is pork rinds and when I get a little ambitious I will make a big batch of flax cheese crackers just in case the cheese and cracker urge hits me, I put them in a tupperware container and keep them in the fridge. Just haven't been that ambitious lately!

Is the recipe for the flax cheese crackers on ADBB? If not, would you mind sharing? They sound great!
Here you go. I use more parmesean than it calls for and I add caraway seeds for some extra flavor, you can experiment with some spices like garlic or whatever you like to give them some more umph! This is a one serving batch, I make big batches when I do it so that I have some ready for later!
