Could the chamomile be causing an additive effect????
I don't know. I have to get up very early for church on Sunday, so I didn't drink anything but water after dinner last night, and I didn't get hungry at all. I'll try the combination again tonight.

I have low blood sugar as a rule, anyway. Doing Atkins has stabilized it far better than any other time in my life. I took the cinnamon capsules for about two months, but they neither helped me or harmed me, so I stopped. I frequently put ground cinnamon in with my coffee grounds, but I only drink coffee in the morning.

I can't tell if I am getting other symptoms of low blood sugar because I am having a severe flare of my Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. That comes loaded with muscle weakness, blurred vision, tremors, and several movement disorders (contracture spasms, dystonia and myoclonus).
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

I got extremely hungry and had to get up at near midnight and eat! Doggonit! I'm leaving it completely alone for a few days. Probably until Lent is over.

Hmmm....maybe it is dropping your blood sugar lower.

Well, I'm looking through my spice cabinet and looking up various recipes for teas. So I'll post the combos I think are pretty good.

I have one recipe that calls for equal parts of caraway, fennel, anise and star anise----it's supposed to be good for the digestion. Just by looking at the recipe, I think if it's sweetened a bit, it will taste like licorice candy.

ouuu... I have cinnamon cravings, especially when I smell my dh making cinnamon raisin toast! This might just nip that in the bud, especially if it's sweet and naturally too. Thanks!

I've been drinking this the past few nights. I really like it. I have some good Saigon cinnamon.
