Ok so it is only five carbs worth of beans and that is not enough when you want a whole bowl! ..so here is an old earth muffin trick that I love ...
take a cup of more of dried chick peas..(or soy or other bean of your choice) then rince them well and put them in a pot with clear water and bring to a boil...boil like 3 min tun off and leave for an hour..then drain and leave until fairly dry on a towel....toss in oil and curry salt or chile salt or salt salt!....put on a baking sheet and bake at 350 until nut like (keep checking them and stirring them about every 5 min) it takes about 20 min and they can be stored in a airtight container in the frig...but are better fresh!...
I love these best with chickpeas but soy are good as well! lentils are yum but harder to do...
you can get more bang for your bean with this tastey snack!
