  • Dipping Sauce for Shrimp

OK, my big induction-friendly 'splurge' meal of the week is a pound of boiled shrimp from the local seafood shack. I hot boiled shrimp!

But the cocktail sauce is off-limits, so I had to get creative. Here's my new favorite sauce concotion:

2 parts All Seasons Salsa Ranch dressing (2 carbs)
1 part Ken's Creamy Caesar dressing (0 carbs)
    horseradish to taste

    It's deliciously tangy and spicy.

I tried just Ken's Creamy Caesar & horseradish the first time, and it was pretty good, but that Salsa Ranch really added a nice kick -- while the Ken's mixed in keeps it from being overly hot.

I use Heinz 1 carb ketchup with horseradish in it and lemon juice....it's 1 carb for 1 Tbsp and I can dip a lot of shrimp in that. The 1carb has reduced sugar and 180 mg of sodium. I have also used tomato sauce (no sugar added) and horseradish - either are good. I'll have to try your recipe sometime.

I also LOVE the horseradish flavored sauce for shrimp! Will definitely try yours, imagood1!

I haven't bought any low-carb ketchup because I don't use ketchup that often. But I apparently need to keep some on hand.

I tried a combination of real Mayonnaise and low carb tomato sauce with a squeeze of lime juice, worcestor sauce an then dusted with cayenne papper for a bit of a kick - delicious!

Ditto the Heinz low sugar ketchup, horseradish, and lemon juice cocktail sauce. It's delicious and tastes identical to the high sugar stuff.

For tartar sauce, I found some splenda sweetened pickle relish at a regular grocery store. With mayo and lemon juice, it's perfect.

mayo + lemon juice + horseradish is good.
