:nod You could use vital gluten and whey protein but of course it´s not the same and it´s silly using the machine just for that.

But then.... when I´m sorry about the machine ...... I see your pics and think ....... who cares about the bread machine???? ... because you look fantastic! :guns

I love my kitchenade. It has a lot of attachments, and I use it a lot.
My dream is to one day own a kitchenaid..Not sure how long it would take me to choose a colour..they come in so many now!!!! I wish i could afford one..rarely do they go under $300 here and i just can't justify it :sadblinky

      I love my:
      Starfrit Rotary Cheese Grater
      Mandolin
my Mini Electric Food processor that only cost me $8 at Walmart
      My one cup coffee maker.
My Sunbeam 'Hot Shot' it boils a cup of water in under 30 seconds.

And the one thing I think every kitchen should have!:
My stainless steel half moon chopper (which i just learned is called a Mezzaluna)..I just did a search on Nigella Lawson's site (her show was where i first saw one and had to have it!) Here's a pic http://www.givinggallery.com/individ...ubnavID=brands

I love them because I can put everything in before I go to work in the morning and when I come home dinner is ready! Especially in the winter when I want pot roast or pork roast and sauerkraut!

BTW, I only bought 1 of them, the other 2 were gifts, funny I have a rectangle one, a round one and an oblong one! and they all hold different amounts.

Any one that you prefer and what's a good size? I'm shopping for one right now... I saw walmart had one on sale but it was only 2qt :yikes i'm thinking that's waaaay too small.

I think the ones with the removeable inssert would be best?

I'm actually going to have a garage sale this weekend and sell off alot of my kitchen crap that i don't use anymore...My electric wok (only used once!), my rice cooker since i don't really use it anymore (i've discovered uncle bens bistro express for my hubby, 2 mins inthe microwave..only rice he really likes), My old crock pot (has no lid, it broke), lots of corningware french white casserole dishes. A betty crocker contact grill (it's not like the george f one..doesn't have the top lid part. and it's huge) I just don't have the space anymore...Most of this stuff was shower gifts when I got married, and I just really never use it. I have one favorite pan, 2 favorite pots and one casserole dish i use. I figure if i haven't used it in a year...sell it!

Well, I 'm at work, and I don't remeber what brands they are. I like having the different sizes. My favorite feature on my littlest one is that it has 10 temperature savings, I can cook pretty fast in it or very very slow, but its not big enough for my pot roasts cause I make a lot and we'll eat it for like 3 dinners and then I use the lefovers in soups.

Definatley get one that has a removable pot! And one of mine came with a great insulated case that zips around it -keeps it warm and has a stretchy thingy that holds the top in place if you are taking it to a party or something which I have done lots of times, that is really handy! I think the one I like the best is the Hamilton Beach and I 'm not sure how many quarts it is, it looks alot like this one

speaking of kitchaides... i recently got married and got a huge 350 dollar one. However, I returned it for a microwave AND a toasteroven... I guess I really am a child of the fast food nation. (though I hate fast food.. bleh)

In my (new) kitchen I have:
                            microwave
                            very cool toaster oven
                            wok
                            rice cooker
                            crockpot
                            coffee maker
                            oven
                            NO dishwasher... :anger

Its really cool to have all new stuff though!

Don't feel bad, I was 43 years old before I got my first dishwasher! :yes And we got it from Habitat for Humanity's warehouse place where they sell their extra stuff, you have to roll it over to the sink and connect it to the faucet when you want to use it! :geek
