Induction 2005
Well I enter my 17 month of Atkins and have not really cheated except once on NY day.
I have however carb creeped over the holidays after not losing for about 6 month and found I was getting hungry and lost a bit of my spark.
I know, I know, this is a phase and many of you have gone thru this and I watched many of you successful folks redo your induction and continue on fine so it has inspired me too.
Thanks to those of you who have blazed a trail before us and allowed us to see that re inducting appropriately does work!!
In the past I have witnessed those who carb creep and lose their spark often drop or quit the program and I can't do that as have 25 + lbs left to lose and have to control my diabetes.
I have had numerous ex members mainly from diabetes board getting in touch with me after I sent out Christmas wishes from those who had retired from our board and many of them were excited to come back to the board and to start over and re do induction as they had stopped the program.
Since I am at a similar phase of my life and restarted induction Jan 2 and am down 7lbs and feel so awesome I decided to make it an announcement on the diabetic board and the 50+ board that I mod for.
That way if any other members feel they need to do induction with us they will feel a sense of a team program and we can buddy up and support one another.
For sure, I do not want anyone saying we are abusing the program by doing induction so expect you to know Atkins book about re inducting, as I will not be and others will not be challenging those who make this decision.
.
I invite all of you who appropriately feel you need to re do induction to join us.
We can post daily here if we wish about how we are coping; our struggles our success etc and hopefully it will inspire new folks to know this is a way of life and if you do fall off you can pull up your bootstraps and get back into the program.
Over the time here, I have seen many successful LOSERS here have to go back to induction, use it appropriately and then continue on their way of life….so happy 2005 folks and let me know who wants to join and why and hopefully we can keep each other inspired to keep at it, lose those pounds and feel better.
We have an exercise forum so you can use, we can use
to track our food and progress, our recipes section is an awesome support.
So we have a ton of resources not to mention those great members who have done this before and continue to succeed, we embrace you and invite you to share with us how it worked for you.
There are many knowledgeable mods and members here who know the program well, have had to get back on track themselves, as this is a lifetime struggle and not a diet so we have many opportunities to make it work….use the board and live well at ADBB.
Thanks for listening to my long post…. and hope to grab as many folks as possible who are interested in regaining their health back.
Its not too late…..bring the duct tape and jump on the wagon.
