This whole conversation is just cute.

I'm moving because I'm looking at it as something I just want to do in order to feel better. I can only do the stairs three times in row before pooping out, but I now made it so that every time I get up to do something, I take at least one flight.

A little further to go... 390/490

That water really lived up to expectations! Coooooool as a mountain stream there atop the Petronas Towers. View was good too... all colonial down below! Made it to the top, at long last! Yippee!

Next, back to the UK for the BT Tower in Birmingham.

Re: PLEDGING FLIGHTS *** A Stair Climb Challenge

Back at the stair climbing challenge again. Took a week off.
I went up to Vermomt last weekend and Spent 2-1/2 days on the Long Trail backpacking.
I hiked 30 miles and summited numerous mountains. It was very hot and humid and I am glad I have been stairclimbing for the last couple of months. It definitely had an impact on the enjoyment of my trip. I now have completed 135 miles of the Long trail and have 137 to go! Should be completed in mid Sept.
                Have a great day everyone!
                Jack W.

                Killimanjaro...811 flights to go!

uh............. let me check my sheet............
i started that on 18 june and finished on 26 june.
remember, i am not climbing every day necessarily. too many workouts, so little time! lol
                          my climb went like this:
                          40
                          day off
                          30
                          10
                          30
                          day off
                          day off
                          60 (what was i thinking!)
                          20

when i started out, slieve donard was my first climb, i was counting each time i trekked up my stairs. one flight at time. after that climb i realized that was too easy for me and not much of a challenge.
now i do my flights in succession and don't bother with the trips upstairs to bed or to deliver laundry or clean. now i do sets of 12 or 15 and just go 30 or whatever. i work up a better sweat and my heart rate gets going much better than with one flight at a time.
