Jack, there were 45 F in Moscow this morning, so I hope you took some warm clothes with you. Congrats for getting to the top of the Mosque, hope you had a nice view over Casablanca from there!

        _____

I'm quite bad with updating, but let's see... In the past 9 days I did 98 flights. 333 in total.

            Great climbing, Jack

( I wish someone would count for me, too!) I've got no idea where i'm at! Climbed a real mountain last weekend and have not been able to calculate since. Went to approximately 1700 ft elevation from I'm not sure what - anybody know where theres an online search map showing elevations? And then, I've got to translate the feet into flights cuz i fergot totally the conversion.... Ahhh, just fergittabout it! After I got over being sore as bleep Monday and Tuesday, my leg muscles are begging (and bulging a little more, too) for more!

I think maybe I'll just start back on the staircase counting!
            Heres one, LOL

OK, seriously, now it's time I headed for Mt Juno. (grabs coat, exits, stage up)

[edit] ...reappears for the halibut with 10 flights up, for good starting measure. Feelin' the chill in the air already!

susan, i almost always find myself at wikipedia when i'm looking for elevatons. using our calculations for this challenge, 1700 is 3400 steps or 227 flights. i don't know where that puts you. if you were already part way up when you started hiking, maybe you can just estimate

              good climbing no matter what!

... ri i i i i ght, Jimmie.... Started from a parking lot about 4 mi. due south of 1700ft, went 1 mi further, but down hill, back up that mile the next morning, to the peak, & then downhill back to the lot, which was a little higher than Greenbrier State Park.

Any McWays, (pardon my McFrench,) ...17/477 on Juno. Somehow I've gotten extra NRG into the works! Knock on wood!! Maybe cuz I'm wearin' shorts and a T, at 50-60-something degrees...

Sorry I don't have time to read all the posts here... I have 2 huge exams coming in the next two weeks and I'm busy studying.

Climbed 46 flights, so 333+46 = 379... so I guess I have 19 flights to transfer to some other climb, right? The next climb will have to wait however until Nov 10 or so. I want to be done with the school stuff first.

yeppers... whatever extra flights you have gets carried over. i don't short anybody on their flights!
the beauty of this challenge, georgiana, is that you can take it slow, come back to it when you have time and basically, you really can just keep adding flights all the time. doing a 100 or doing 5, they all count. however it works out is fine!
                      yes, school work comes first.
