Re: PLEDGING FLIGHTS *** A Stair Climb Challenge
Well, apart from needing the extra exercise since hub got ill and my routines changed somewhat, my doggies too are getting old (13 and 14 years) and full of arthritis. Last year the older one started only coming on five mins of the 30 min fast dog walks, before turning back; but after this winter, the younger 13 year old has started doing that too. I don't like walking alone, so I tend to turn back too and get out the aerobic step instead. Quite useful for clocking up steps. I get to watch the news on TV too... or House MD!!!
I'm thinking of buying a Wii fit, to fill the gap. I wonder if they do virtual mountain climbing on that? Maybe we should sell the idea to Nintendo and make a mint as well as staying slim!!!!
I'll have to try not to slacken the pace (which is what I tend to do at the slightest excuse!) now that I know I don't have to pant
to keep up... until you overtake me, that is!!
