Lisa I can sympathize as I have been working ofr months to get stable enough to do more then one pushup with just my toes on the ball.
they actually make a ball holder looks like a doogie dish you can buy but you get more muscles worked stabilizing the ball. if you can't then you can hang off the end of the couch and use it to hold our ball still for you and support part of your lower body weight.
did my 100 with a few toe ones thrown in as extra.

(Hey! go way whp!!! Not yet!!) ...if you promise to just try the ball every other day. Maybe ease into it and if you don't feel comfy then just hit the floor (not literally!!!
). Pushups are good anyway you do em!!!
