The next time I do this they are going in their crate. I've never tried pilates but it's tough for a pear shaped person. It's very hard to lay flat on your side when you have bumpy hips.
I didn't get as good of a workout as with Mari's, but I still couldn't finish all the moves. So, I thought I'd work on this one off and on until I could master all the moves (hopefully by the end of November) and then move onto Mari's 20 minute workout.

Your doggies are so funny!! They crack me up!!

You are funny too about being pear-shaped. I just lay on the saddlebag and hope that the movement will wear it down!! (Sorta like the skinbrushing or massage.)

                Hello everyone Happy Monday!

reporting in with my WATP video number - 10 times today for 60/300

You guys are such an inspiration - I'm looking forward to working up to some of the videos yous are doing. Does anyone know of a beginners belly dancing video? I thought I'd check it out now - maybe I can get one and add it to my workout.

I tell ya, I love making personalized comments, but you guys are so active on this board that it's hard to keep up! I think I saw workouts from Saty, Tam, Val, Barb, LisaJ, Kat, and qbu! Way to go gals!! It's near to hear about different people's workouts and get ideas for other videos we all might want to try...

Val, I kept imagining you stretching your head out like a turtle. I even tried it myself.... lol.

Saty, I want to know about the bikini workout, too. You said it's intense... how difficult are the moves? Is it simple to follow, even if it takes a lot outta ya?

Gotta get these kids in bed, and then I'll do WATP walk and jog and some push ups.

                        Adena,

Here's the amazon page for the self bikini workout:

At the bottom of the page there's customer reviews and each one goes through a play by play of the workout. If you don't do a ton of weight training/toning exercises this is going to fatigue your muscles and still get your heart rate up. It's intense for the upper body, but not so much for the lower body, although I've been doing lots of squats and lunges lately. The moves are "pilates inspired" meaning there's alot of flow and graceful arm movements. It reminded me a bit of when I took ballet too.

I like to use the self series to keep things interesting!

Hope everyone is having a good day!
                        Best Wishes!

Power Walk with 3 pound weights -- you go Kat!!!

Thanks for the link, Saty. I'll definitely check it out.

Tam, I'm not aware of any beginning belly dancing... but let me know if you find out. That could be fun! A quick little web search would probably reveal something. Usually I think go cross-reference whatever I find at amazon.com to read their reviews.

This morning, I went outside and walk/jogged for a mile, and then came in and did the WATP Easy 1 Mile, plus stability ball push ups. I feel off to a good start this morning! So, 4/16 for me.

                                Hi Everyone-
You ladies are doing great and everyone is logging videos regularly and we are only in the first week of November. Keep up the good work.

Yesterday video was the buns section from "I want that body" and today I felt like the energizer bunny so I did the WATP Three Mile Walk using three pound weights along with the one mile power mile using five pond medicine balls for half of the mile and empty handed the rest of the mile because of fatigued arms.
