    Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

Oh, I suppose I should warn everyone... if we don't get more than 5 folks (not including me), then this isn't going to happen anymore. Sorry, but I'm sure you guys know the time that it takes to come up with these and everything, and it's just not much fun without participation (even if it is a completely insane challenge).

Well, we already have 4 don't we? You're counting yourself right Lyssie? We need one more person for this to happen, and I don't think we will be hard pressed to find one more by the April 17th.

Okay, so we can't do them similtaneously? If not, then I'm out. Sorry -- but I have got to keep up my running throughout (or I'll lose it), and don't have the time/discipline to run just for fun, plus the additional miles on other things.

I respect you for sticking to your gym **** guns, though.

Hello, late to the party but count me in

I think I'll do running, elliptical and bike. I must be mad, I swore I'd never choose elliptical again, but it works like a charm. Please let it go ahead! Pester Richt - he finished last time I think?

            Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

Lyssie, I really want to do it again, but am training really hard on my running at the moment, so may I have the rules bent for me (bearing in mind my position on the board ........ lol

Can I do 60 miles of running
            and 100 miles of biking?

And not necessarily have to complete one discipline before starting the other?

            Please advise

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Bearing in mind that with my running at the moment, i am consistantly running 13 miles in one session. Its not healthy to keep doing it with out a break for the muscles etc. Which I tend to use the stationary bike for.

Count me in Lyssie!! I loved this challenge last time (even though I failed!!! lol)

Eliptical, running and stair master - but I go on holiday/vacation on the 19th May!!! so it means I only have 5 weeks to complete it!!!! but I'll give it my best shot!!! It will help me with my bikini challenge too!!!

                  Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

Ok, how about we make this be the option, you can do *either* 2 of them (with one twice) *or* do them simultaneously. I'm still sticking to my guns on not making this an easy challenge.

Rich - Now, I may be a little biased just because I think you're like super-human or something, but I really think you could do run, bike, run without them being simultaneously... which is probably because you could knock out 30 running miles in 2 sessions... then the bike miles in 3, then the other running in 2 more... but like I said, I could be biased...

For anybody doing bicycle, I *do* count spinning classes as 10 miles for a 1 hour class...

But it simply will not fit into my structured training schedule!

You, about messing up the fixed training schedule thing... Or I could be talking to myself... that's *always* an option.

So whats the outcome? Am I allowed to mix and match or do I need to pull out of the challenge.
