    Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

Is it too late to start? I would like to sign up. I am sure there is no way I can complete this, but trying to do something is better than not even challenging myself at all right?

Hey Lyssie...I know this is the signup thread for KATA 2, but is it also where we're reporting our exercise? (please forgive all the questioning... )

Alright Lyssie, you are not only a crazy woman but a mathmetician too? LOL

So how many flights am I doing of real stairs, meaning not on Bio's crazy fast killer stairmachine? LOL

Ok, so today I did 60 flights of stairs. Up and don my stairs at home....... 60 times! My legs are like jello. Low carb jello, but still, jello.

            Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

Awesome! 60 down! Yippee! I am keeping a postit pad at the top of my stairs with a pen tied through a hole in the top, and ticking them off as I go. Cool huh? My dh thinks it is funny, but then again, he gets winded going up stairs if he has to carry a basket of laundry!

OOOoooOOOoooo! Do i get extrat credit if I am carrying laundry or my 30 lb son? LOL

              Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

Ironic you would ask that since by going up and down the stairs 1000 times, you're basically going to be burning off some of the weight you'll be holding. In other words, umm, no.

I do wonder though, I've been doing like, squats and lunges since I was at least 270/280, but I can't do them with 90lbs. You would think I would be able to since I did it then, right?? Weird world.

Yes, by the way, I am a math nerd, and a computer geek. aka. Geeky Nerd (per BF).

eek. I'm not enough of a nerd to do the whole star trek thing. or star wars for that matter. I've never seen a complete movie/show of either one. Thank goodness.

Alright, that's it girl! Do I need to send you to Klingon ****? *Stovacore for you peeps who know nothing of the klingon afterlife* LOL It is a mortal sin to have never watched an episode of startrek or star wars and call your self a geeknerd! Goodnes girl. Captain picard is shaking in his boots!

BTW, where do we report our exercise, is it in a new thread daily or is it here?

                      Re: KickAss TriAthalon (2) Sign-Up

I started a new thread for it. One thread. Not daily.

Believe me, I'm enough of a geeky nerd *without* star trek. My BF says that anybody, especially any *girl* who has ever played a MUD cannot possibly say they are not geeky, and anybody who was taking pre-calculus in 9th grade cannot say they are not nerdy.

Ummmmmm, I am a nerd, but I don't know what a MUD is... help?

And I will look for the thread for reporting starting tomorrow.

exactly. You're not *that* geeky then. MUD is computer thing. :P Oh, and I don't think that you sit around soldering electronic circuit boards on your days off for fun. That definitely got me huge points in geekdom. *rolls eyes*
